Nurse Manager of Quality and Compliance

Job Responsibilities

Reporting to the System Director of Patient Safety, the Nurse Manager of Quality & Compliance will lead Patient Safety and Clinical Compliance operations for a vast network of acute care hospitals, medical practices, home health, hospice, and cancer center locations. Key responsibilities include:

·        Lead network-wide patient safety initiatives to reduce harm and improve outcomes

·        Manage 7 direct reports and Infection Prevention, Patient Safety, and Compliance teams

·        Oversee compliance with The Joint Commission, CMS, OSHA, and other regulatory bodies

·        Serve as the primary liaison during accreditation and survey processes

·        Facilitate root cause analyses, failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), and safety huddles

·        Partner with nursing leadership and frontline teams to implement best practices

·        Monitor and analyze safety event reports, trends, and performance metrics

·        Develop and deliver staff education and training on safety practices and regulatory standards Candidate Qualifications

The ideal Nurse Manager of Quality & Compliance has:

·        Bachelor’s degree in Nursing

·        CPHQ or CPPS certification

·        At least 3 years of relevant experience in acute care settings
