    A law firm with a large international presence is seeking a temporary Legal Assistant for a 6-12 month assignment. The role is on-site four days per week.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Provide superior technical and administrative support to attorneys and clients.
  • Coordinate complex, senior-level internal/external meetings and conference calls.
  • Manage high-volume phone calls and respond promptly to client requests.
  • Maintain detailed calendars, prioritize meeting requests, and handle related logistics.
  • Arrange domestic and international travel for attorneys, processing business requests efficiently.
  • Create, revise, and format legal documents, spreadsheets, and presentations with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Conduct internet research as directed by attorneys and maintain organized paper and electronic files.
  • Enter and manage attorney time through the 3E system.
  • Establish and maintain positive business relationships with clients, representing the firm professionally.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a support role within a law firm or similar environment. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in legal-specific applications and willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple priorities.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse personalities.
  • Self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently and make decisions on behalf of attorneys.
