Job Title: Manager of Revenue Integrity and Coding

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Location: Western Texas (Relocation Assistance Available)

Are you ready to lead a growing Revenue Integrity team at a high-performing hospital in the heart of the Southwest? This is a brand-new leadership role designed to support a rapidly expanding charge capture department. With strong support from executive leadership, relocation reimbursement up to $7,000, and a generous benefits package including a pension plan, this opportunity is ideal for experienced revenue integrity professionals who want to make an immediate impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a dynamic team of 12 revenue integrity and charge capture professionals, including two clinical RNs who support charge troubleshooting.
  • Oversee and maintain the chargemaster and professional fee schedules for two hospitals, including coordination with a children’s hospital and surgical specialty hospital on campus.
  • Act as a hands-on and strategic leader in charge creation, coding accuracy, and billing processes for both inpatient and outpatient services.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Charge Capture Integrity and Revenue Operations Manager to identify and prevent revenue leakage and ensure compliant, optimal billing workflows.
  • Serve as a mentor and trainer to your team, supporting their professional growth and internal mobility.
  • Analyze data, solve complex problems, and lead process improvements that directly impact financial and patient care goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in revenue integrity or chargemaster maintenance
  • Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in a hospital or physician group practice setting
  • Coding certification (CCS, CCS-P, CPC) required or willingness to obtain within 2 years
  • Deep knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, ICD coding, and revenue code assignments
  • Demonstrated experience with hospital and professional charge capture and compliance
  • Ability to lead change, mentor teams, and solve cross-functional operational challenges
  • Experience with Cerner or Soarian systems preferred
  • Must be able to hit the ground running—this role requires a seasoned leader with minimal training
