Field Service Technician

Job Description
What You’ll Do:
- Install and wire security equipment like cameras, access control systems (door badges/keypads), and alarm systems.
- Set up and test systems to make sure everything works properly.
- Work on job sites with minimal supervision.
- Help troubleshoot and fix issues when systems aren’t working.
- Keep track of your progress and report updates to the team.
- Provide friendly, helpful service to customers.
- Sometimes lead small jobs or help guide junior techs.
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 3 years of experience installing and or servicing security systems like cameras, alarms, and card readers.
- Comfortable working on job sites and occasionally leading projects.
- Basic knowledge of how internet/networking works (e.g., IP addresses, connecting devices).
- Good communication skills and able to work independently.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Certifications in brands like Honeywell, DMP, Software House, Genetec, Brivo, or Exacq are a plus—but not required.
Education:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Extra training from a tech school or military service in electronics is a plus
