Director of Operations, de facto CFO at a growing boutique algorithm trading firm. This role is fully remote and can sit anywhere along the east coast or central time zone

Responsibilities/Job Duties:

Overseeing the financial strategic planning of the company by evaluating its performance and potential risks
Planning for cash spending on projects
Creating companywide budgets for a fiscal year
Preparing quarterly, monthly, and annual financial reports
Leading all forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management
Monitoring and presenting key performance indicator (KPI) reports regularly
Training any new employees as necessary in the finance department
Staying well informed of current market trends and patterns and acting accordingly

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years experience in financial management
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
Advanced knowledge of financial planning and analysis software
Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) and Chartered Financial Analysts (CFAs) are preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
