Title: IT/Technical Business Development/Sales Representative

Industry: Staffing & Recruiting

Location: New York City – Hybrid or Remote (East Coast)

Compensation: $60k – $75k + competitive commission structure

Experience Level: Seeking 4-8 years exp. in recruitment and business development

 

POSITION OVERVIEW 

Green Key Resources is looking for a Technical Recruiter (360/full desk) to join our growing team! This recruiting division specializes in IT opportunities in NYC. This Technical Recruiter and business development rep will be part of a successful team looking for someone eager to advance their career in recruiting for IT by identifying new business opportunities, fostering relationships with clients, and developing strategic partnerships within the IT sector. The ideal candidate is ready to learn, financially motivated, and well-versed in MSPs and Fortune 500 companies. This role requires a deep understanding of industry trends, staffing solutions, and recruitment strategies to support talent acquisition needs. Green Key Resources continuously supports the growth and development of our employees, making sure our resources and technology are the best in the industry. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Identify and engage in the IT space
  • Analyze staffing trends, competitor activities, and hiring demands to develop targeted business strategies.
  • Drive revenue by negotiating contracts, securing staffing agreements, and expanding service offerings
  • Work closely with recruiters to align business development efforts with talent acquisition strategies
  • Establishing, building, and maintaining relationships with IT clients and candidates in all stages of their careers.  
  • Maintaining knowledge of industry-specific products and trends 
  • Coming up with creative strategies to recruit active and passive candidates. 
  • Collecting and analyzing data to improve all hiring processes 
  • Coordinating with team leaders to assess new hiring needs and goals

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • BA/BS Degree in IT, Business, or related fields 
  • At least 4 years of agency recruiting experience or 1 year IT experience 
  • Tech industry knowledge with the ability to understand and discuss relevant skills and companies 
  • Experience in cold calling and follow-ups 
  • Ability to maintain ethical standards 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Proven success working in a fast-paced work environment 
  • Ability to think on your feet 
  • Willingness to learn and grow with a collaborative team
