Job Description

Job Summary: The Security Analyst will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents and threats. This role involves working closely with the IT team to implement security measures and ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor security alerts and incidents using various security tools and platforms.
  • Conduct thorough investigations of security breaches and incidents.
  • Analyze security data to identify potential vulnerabilities and threats.
  • Develop and implement security measures to protect against cyber threats.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure security best practices are followed.
  • Prepare detailed reports on security incidents and recommend corrective actions.
  • Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and threats.
  • Conduct regular security audits and assessments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Security Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of security principles, protocols, and technologies.
  • Experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+) are a plus
