Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Perform partner-level compliance reviews and tax return signoffs for HNW clients.
- Provide strategic consultations on tax planning opportunities and law changes.
- Develop new business through proposals and relationship-building activities.
- Expand services to existing clients and oversee client engagements.
- Supervise and evaluate advanced-level staff, fostering their professional growth.
- Coach and mentor team members to strengthen the tax function.
- Maintain exceptional technical knowledge of tax issues and business trends.
- Collaborate across specialties to deliver innovative tax solutions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, law, or equivalent field required.
- CPA certification mandatory; JD or EA considered with exceptional experience.
- Minimum 15 years of progressive tax experience, preferably in PCS tax.
- 5+ years of supervisory experience in mentoring and counseling associates.
- Proven ability to acquire new clients and grow a book of business.
- Experience with HNW, estate, and trust tax from midsize CPA firms preferred.
- Strong leadership skills to manage and develop a high-performing team.
- Remote work capability with occasional travel to NYC or NJ.
