Role: Learning and Development Specialist

Location: NYC (Hybrid – 2x per week in office)

Experience Level: Seeking 2-5 years of experience, preferably from agency L&D role)

POSITION OVERVIEW: 

As a Learning and Development Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the talent development across sales, recruitment, and operational teams. As a specialist, you will build scalable programs that enhance performance, retention, and leadership pipelines. 

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & SKILLS:

• Training Program Design: develop and implement impactful training programs across leadership, performance management, and succession planning.
• Needs Assessment: identify skill gaps and align learning initiatives with business goals.
• Facilitation: lead in-person and virtual workshops, seminars, and training sessions for employees at all levels.
• Evaluation & Metrics: measure training effectiveness using feedback, assessments, and performance data to drive continuous improvement.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: partner with department leaders to build career development plans and identify high-potential talent for succession planning.
• Instructional design and training delivery expertise.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills.
• Analytical mindset for assessing needs and tracking outcomes.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

QUALIFICATIONS 

• BA/BS Degree is preferred
• 2+ years of learning and development experience (agency experience preferred) 
• Strong communication and interpersonal relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment technology.
• Ability to manage projects and prioritize effectively
• Willingness to learn and grow with a collaborative team
