Job Description

Overview

  • Lead and oversee clinical operations at a thriving multi-specialty surgery center.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.
  • Collaborate with physicians to enhance surgical services and patient care.
  • Drive growth initiatives, including the development of new surgical programs.
  • Manage a team of department leaders, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Implement quality improvement programs to ensure excellence in clinical outcomes.
  • Oversee financial operations, including budgeting and purchasing plans.
  • Promote strong relationships between staff, physicians, and patients.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and operational efficiency improvements.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Direct daily clinical operations, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Medical Director to evaluate and develop surgical services.
  • Manage staffing needs, employee performance, and professional development programs.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Monitor financial performance, addressing variations to maintain fiscal health.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations and accreditation standards.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the center's services.
  • Foster positive relationships with physicians, staff, and external partners.
  • Represent the center in corporate meetings and professional associations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) with active RN licensure.
  • Minimum 3 years of surgical leadership experience; 5 years preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage multi-specialty ambulatory surgery centers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to handle challenging physician personalities.
  • Experience in change management and staff relationship building.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and accreditation standards.
  • Ability to oversee financial operations and implement growth strategies.
  • Leadership experience in quality improvement and clinical excellence programs.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Rock Hill, SC.
