Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Ensure delivery of high-quality nursing care in the Cath Lab and IR departments.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize patient care and departmental efficiency.
- Lead and mentor a team of clinicians, fostering professional growth and collaboration.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to advance stroke and cardiac care programs.
- Monitor and manage departmental budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility.
- Drive initiatives to achieve Magnet® recognition and uphold nursing excellence standards.
- Participate in leadership meetings to align departmental goals with organizational objectives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; advanced degrees preferred.
- Active California RN license and BLS certification upon hire.
- Minimum of 3 years of recent clinical experience in Cath Lab or IR settings.
- At least 1 year of nursing leadership experience, such as RN Supervisor or Nurse Manager.
- California Fire and Life Safety Card within 30 days of hire.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to manage and inspire teams effectively.
- Commitment to patient-focused care and continuous improvement in clinical practices.
- Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced, high-performing hospital environment.
