Overview

Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage fund accounting processes, including NAV close and performance reporting.
- Coordinate annual financial statement and tax return preparation with external administrators.
- Calculate portfolio exposures, performance attribution, and liquidity metrics.
- Support compliance programs and regulatory filings, ensuring adherence to standards.
- Provide financial data for investor relations and marketing materials.
- Collaborate on portfolio modeling and trade execution with research teams.
- Contribute to firm-wide process improvements and operational initiatives.
- Manage special projects requiring finance expertise and cross-functional coordination.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 7-10+ years of experience in public/private CPA roles, preferably with hedge funds.
- CPA certification is preferred, showcasing technical expertise in fund accounting.
- Strong soft skills, including communication, reliability, and strategic thinking.
- Ability to work well within a team and manage multiple deliverables independently.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Detail-oriented and process-driven, with a structured approach to tasks.
- Experience in fund administration or public accounting is considered valuable.
