Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Investigate workers’ compensation cases and gather evidence for hearings and trials.
  • Handle cases from intake through settlement, hearings, and/or trials.
  • Maintain significant contact with clients, insurance adjusters, attorneys, and courts.
  • Prepare legal documents and manage case files using Filevine and CompHub platforms.
  • Conduct legal research and ensure compliance with Maryland workers’ compensation laws.
  • Assist in personal injury cases as needed, leveraging relevant experience.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office and Adobe tools for document preparation and communication.
  • Support the firm’s mission to advocate for the rights of injured victims.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in workers’ compensation cases; 4 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and Filevine software.
  • Experience with Maryland’s CompHub platform is essential.
  • Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are a plus.
  • Strong written communication and organizational skills required.
  • Ability to work onsite five days a week with potential for one remote day.
