Overview

  • Join a dynamic team as a Senior Benefits Administrator, managing retirement programs and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Provide expert guidance on retirement benefits, supporting employees and internal teams with inquiries and issues.
  • Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to enhance benefits delivery and resolve employee concerns.
  • Develop financial wellness initiatives and educate employees on maximizing their retirement benefits.
  • Ensure accuracy in benefits systems through audits and data reconciliation processes.
  • Support management decisions by analyzing trends and preparing detailed benefits utilization reports.
  • Work on-site in a collaborative environment with modern technology and open layouts.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Administer U.S.-based retirement programs, including 401(k) plans, pension plans, and financial wellness benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, preparing and submitting required filings.
  • Process monthly pension payments and verify calculations and data entry by third-party administrators.
  • Coordinate internal audits and collaborate with actuaries, auditors, and accountants on plan documents.
  • Lead retirement committee meetings, preparing agendas and executing action items effectively.
  • Enhance data accuracy in systems through audits and resolving discrepancies.
  • Educate employees about retirement programs via communication materials and intranet updates.
  • Prepare detailed reports and recommend plan design enhancements and wellness initiatives.
  • Reconcile employee and vendor reports, submitting invoices and resolving billing issues.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in retirement, insurance benefits, financial planning, or actuarial services.
  • Preferred certifications include Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) or Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA).
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. retirement plan regulations, including ERISA, IRS guidelines, and DOL requirements.
  • Proficiency in Excel and data manipulation; experience with Workday preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting complex information.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and accuracy.
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • Track record of automating processes and improving efficiencies in benefits administration.
