Overview
- Join a dynamic tax department as a Senior Tax Accountant, contributing to compliance and financial activities across the United States and Canada.
- Collaborate with global teams to ensure accurate transfer pricing documentation and alignment with international tax standards.
- Prepare and review financial records, tax returns, and reconciliation statements, ensuring precision and compliance.
- Support partner accounting and compensation processes, including capital loan administration and distribution tracking.
- Engage in research and analysis of evolving tax laws and jurisdictional requirements to maintain compliance.
- Assist in audits, notices, and correspondence with Federal, state, and local tax authorities.
- Contribute to special projects and initiatives aimed at optimizing tax processes and financial reporting.
- Work in a hybrid environment, combining remote and on-site collaboration for enhanced flexibility.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Prepare and review partnership income tax returns, including book-to-tax calculations and partner allocations.
- Assist in transfer pricing documentation and nexus analysis to determine filing requirements.
- Calculate quarterly tax estimates and coordinate payments across jurisdictions.
- Maintain partner tax capital balances and administer capital loan programs with banking partners.
- Research partnership tax issues and manage audits and notices from tax authorities.
- Prepare budget and variance analysis for tax and partner capital accounts.
- Engage with global tax teams to ensure compliance and alignment with international standards.
- Support retirement plan audits and other special projects as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax accounting, with preference for 4 years.
- Executive-level expertise in partnership tax compliance and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in preparing tax returns, reconciliation statements, and managing audits.
- Strong knowledge of Federal, state, and local tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience with transfer pricing documentation and global tax standards.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, combining remote and on-site collaboration.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting.
