Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Perform phlebotomy procedures for pediatric and adult patients with precision and care.
  • Assist in clinical operations, ensuring smooth workflow and patient satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical records software.
  • Support infection control protocols and adhere to healthcare safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and team members to address needs.
  • Provide CPR and basic life support as required during emergencies.
  • Utilize bilingual skills to assist diverse patient populations effectively.
  • Contribute to the clinic's success by demonstrating strong organizational abilities.

Job Requirements

  • Completion of a Medical Assistant Program and possession of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Certification in CPR (basic life support) and Infection Control.
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience, preferably in an ambulatory setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel for clinic operations.
  • Strong phlebotomy skills with pediatric and adult patient populations.
  • Experience with electronic medical records software is highly preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish or other language proficiency is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and staff.
