Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Perform phlebotomy procedures for pediatric and adult patients with precision and care.
- Assist in clinical operations, ensuring smooth workflow and patient satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical records software.
- Support infection control protocols and adhere to healthcare safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with patients and team members to address needs.
- Provide CPR and basic life support as required during emergencies.
- Utilize bilingual skills to assist diverse patient populations effectively.
- Contribute to the clinic's success by demonstrating strong organizational abilities.
Job Requirements
- Completion of a Medical Assistant Program and possession of a high school diploma or GED.
- Certification in CPR (basic life support) and Infection Control.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience, preferably in an ambulatory setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel for clinic operations.
- Strong phlebotomy skills with pediatric and adult patient populations.
- Experience with electronic medical records software is highly preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish or other language proficiency is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and staff.
