Overview

  • Join a dynamic organization as a Payroll Analyst, ensuring compliance and accuracy in payroll operations for union employees.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Accounts Payable and Payroll to oversee essential payroll functions and reporting.
  • Utilize your expertise in ADP Workforce Now and Yardi Voyager to manage payroll systems effectively.
  • Support employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and tax-related matters with excellent customer service skills.
  • Contribute to compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and laws.
  • Ensure readiness for audits and manage unemployment and leave program claims.
  • Participate in special projects, enhancing payroll processes and organizational efficiency.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating proactive problem-solving and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Process weekly payroll for over 200 union employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage union benefits, dues, and fund payments through designated portals.
  • Handle unemployment, Worker’s Compensation, Paid Family Leave, and disability claims efficiently.
  • Provide employment and loan verifications as required, maintaining confidentiality.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and tax-related matters promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and laws.
  • Prepare for audits, ensuring readiness and accuracy in reporting.
  • Collaborate on special projects to improve payroll processes and systems.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 3 years of payroll experience, preferably with union employees.
  • Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now, ADP Workforce Manager, and Yardi Voyager.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple workflows in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Ability to work late occasionally to meet deadlines and project requirements.
  • Attention to detail and proactive problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in handling compliance and audit preparation.
