Job Description

Overview

  • Lead financial operations as a Controller, ensuring compliance and accuracy in reporting.
  • Collaborate with teams to manage fund accounting and financial reporting processes.
  • Utilize expertise in financial instruments and PnL calculations for strategic decision-making.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of financial strategies and policies.
  • Oversee complex management fee calculations and waterfall structures.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in financial services.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage fund accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Perform PnL calculations for diverse financial instruments including equities and derivatives.
  • Oversee waterfall calculations and management fee structures.
  • Provide leadership in compliance and regulatory adherence within financial services.
  • Collaborate with teams to optimize operational workflows and processes.
  • Utilize advanced Excel and Geneva reporting tools for data analysis.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication.
  • Ensure punctuality and dedication in fulfilling organizational objectives.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field required.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in financial services, with expertise in fund accounting.
  • Proficiency in financial instruments and PnL calculations is essential.
  • Strong analytical and accounting skills, with advanced knowledge of Excel and Geneva reporting.
  • CPA certification preferred for enhanced credibility and expertise.
  • Experience with alternative investment funds and REIT structures is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills for client relationship management and team collaboration.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site in a hybrid arrangement.
