Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Conduct legal and factual research using advanced tools like Westlaw, LexisNexis, and PACER to support case development.
  • Proofread, cite-check, and fact-check legal documents, ensuring precision and compliance with legal standards.
  • Prepare, finalize, and file legal documents efficiently, adhering to deadlines and procedural requirements.
  • Organize and track case files, maintaining comprehensive reference materials for attorneys and legal staff.
  • Coordinate depositions, hearings, and client meetings, including scheduling, exhibit preparation, and vendor communication.
  • Manage office operations, including supply inventory, vendor relations, and facility maintenance, ensuring a functional workspace.
  • Support onboarding processes for new hires, collaborating with HR to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Organize office events and celebrations, fostering a positive and engaging workplace culture.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in legal studies or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal; 5 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw, LexisNexis, and PACER.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage case files and administrative tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, balancing in-office and remote responsibilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail for proofreading and document preparation tasks.
