Job Description

Overview

  • Lead construction projects for ground-up cold storage facilities, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with a dynamic team in a nationwide travel-based role.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to meet objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and construction regulations.
  • Oversee subcontractors and coordinate their activities on-site.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to assistant superintendents and project engineers.
  • Utilize construction management software for project tracking and reporting.
  • Participate in project planning and scheduling meetings with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Supervise all phases of construction for cold storage facilities from inception to completion.
  • Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
  • Monitor construction progress and address any issues promptly.
  • Ensure adherence to project specifications and quality standards.
  • Manage on-site logistics, including equipment, materials, and workforce.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and enforce safety protocols.
  • Prepare and submit progress reports to stakeholders.
  • Resolve conflicts and challenges on-site to maintain project momentum.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in construction management, preferably in cold storage projects.
  • Associate of Arts degree or equivalent educational background required.
  • Proficiency in construction software such as Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
  • Willingness to travel nationwide for project assignments.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and construction standards.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with large-scale projects valued at $20MM+ preferred.
