Ground Up Superintendent, Cold Storage Construction

Overview

• Lead construction projects for cold storage facilities, ensuring high-quality execution and adherence to timelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to manage resources, budgets, and project milestones effectively.
• Oversee site operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to maintain project efficiency and quality.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to on-site teams for optimal performance.
• Ensure documentation and reporting are accurate and timely throughout project phases.
• Support project planning and design phases to align with client requirements.
• Maintain strong communication with clients to address concerns and updates effectively.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Supervise all aspects of cold storage construction projects from initiation to completion.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and local regulations.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams for seamless operations.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality.
• Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders and clients.
• Resolve issues and mitigate risks to ensure project success.
• Train and guide team members to enhance their skills and productivity.

Job Requirements

• Associate of Arts (AA) degree or equivalent educational background.
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in construction management, preferably cold storage projects.
• Preferred 15 years of experience in similar roles.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Willingness to work on-site in the Southeast region.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
