Fund Accounting Manager

Overview

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Oversee fund accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and disclosures for stakeholders.
• Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard financial integrity.
• Coordinate with auditors to facilitate annual audits and resolve issues.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies aligned with industry best practices.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team, fostering professional growth.
• Collaborate with investment teams to support fund operations and reporting needs.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Business Administration or equivalent degree required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in fund accounting or related field.
• Preferred 7 years of experience with exposure to private equity accounting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment with occasional on-site presence.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
