Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Configure and maintain connectivity across datacenters, offices, and trading partner infrastructures.
- Implement and manage network appliances, focusing on Palo Alto firewalls.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues in a live trading environment.
- Document network topology, configuration, and changes for operational clarity.
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance and safety measures.
- Provide on-call and weekend support as part of a rotation schedule.
- Support both security and network contexts, ensuring seamless integration.
- Participate in infrastructure enhancement projects to improve efficiency and reliability.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in network engineering or related roles.
- Proficiency in network and security concepts, including IPSec and TLS-based VPNs.
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls is essential.
- Understanding of routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and RIP.
- Experience with monitoring tools and techniques for network optimization.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration.
