Job Description

Overview

  • Lead technical project management efforts for clinical trial and software deployment initiatives in a remote setting.
  • Collaborate with clients, partners, and internal teams to define project objectives and strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and operational policies while mentoring junior project management staff.
  • Support business development goals by participating in bid defenses, sales presentations, and governance meetings.
  • Cultivate productive communication channels among stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Develop operational standards and best practices to enhance project management services.
  • Leverage expertise in clinical trials and software environments to drive impactful project outcomes.
  • Contribute to organizational growth by identifying future business opportunities and client needs.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage complex clinical and technical projects, ensuring successful delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Direct project teams to fulfill contractual obligations and maintain compliance with industry standards.
  • Mentor and guide junior project management staff to develop their skills and expertise.
  • Develop and implement process efficiencies and quality improvements within the PMO.
  • Set operational standards and best practices to demonstrate the value of project management services.
  • Utilize technical expertise to manage system implementations and data management projects effectively.
  • Maintain working knowledge of clinical trial guidelines and software systems relevant to project requirements.
  • Lead technical teams and resolve issues to ensure project success and client satisfaction.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience required.
  • 10+ years of project management experience, preferably in clinical, biomedical, or software environments.
  • 5+ years in pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry or senior consulting roles managing complex projects preferred.
  • PMP certification is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications and collaborative platforms like Teams and SharePoint.
  • Knowledge of clinical trial guidelines, EDC systems, and biostatistical visualizations.
  • Experience managing matrixed project teams and software development projects.
  • Strong ability to lead technical teams and resolve project-related issues effectively.
