Overview

  • Join a dynamic financial services firm as a Settlements Specialist Operations, contributing to efficient trade settlements and portfolio data integrity.
  • Play a pivotal role in pre-closing processes, including deal structuring, trade activity, and settlement coordination.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Treasury, Tax, and Fund Accounting to ensure seamless operations.
  • Engage in document management, KYC compliance, and tax form coordination to support investment activities.
  • Contribute to audit requests, procedure updates, and special projects to maintain operational excellence.
  • Experience a hybrid work environment with three days in-office, fostering collaboration and productivity.
  • Enhance your expertise in broadly syndicated loans and credit agreement analysis.
  • Leverage advanced Microsoft Excel skills to analyze and manage financial data effectively.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Handle loan trade settlements across multiple funds, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Monitor and coordinate daily cash flows between trustees and the Treasury Team.
  • Create and execute trade documents, including Assignment Agreements and Trade Tickets.
  • Collaborate with agents and counterparties to ensure timely settlement processes.
  • Confirm internal approvals and distribute settlement documents to relevant parties.
  • Coordinate requests for tax forms and understand incorporation documentation requirements.
  • Assist with bond settlements, audit requests, and special projects as needed.
  • Update operational procedures to align with evolving business needs.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in settlements or operations; 3 years preferred.
  • Proficiency with ClearPar and LSTA trade documentation is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of broadly syndicated loans and credit agreements is essential.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of KYC compliance and tax documentation processes.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, fostering collaboration and productivity.
