Job Description

Overview

  • Perform custodial duties including cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, and garbage disposal to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as mailings, scanning, and basic data entry to support office operations.
  • Ensure readiness and safety during workmen visits, including monitoring activities and providing assistance as needed.
  • Handle light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and assembling office furniture when required.
  • Operate office equipment like postage machines and scanners to facilitate efficient administrative processes.
  • Work onsite during specified hours to ensure consistent availability and support for daily operations.
  • Receive training for additional administrative responsibilities to expand skillset and enhance contributions.
  • Collaborate with team members to uphold workplace standards and achieve organizational goals effectively.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Perform daily cleaning tasks including vacuuming, dusting, and garbage disposal to maintain a tidy environment.
  • Assist with clerical duties such as stuffing envelopes, operating postage machines, and scanning documents.
  • Monitor and support workmen during onsite activities to ensure smooth operations and safety.
  • Assemble office furniture and perform light maintenance tasks as needed to support office functionality.
  • Provide administrative support through data entry and other assigned tasks to optimize office workflows.
  • Learn and execute additional administrative duties as trained to enhance role effectiveness.
  • Maintain punctuality and presence onsite to ensure consistent support for daily operations.

Job Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent education in a relevant field is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of custodial or administrative experience; 3 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in basic administrative tasks such as mailings, scanning, and data entry.
  • Ability to perform light maintenance tasks including changing light bulbs and assembling furniture.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining cleanliness and order.
  • Comfortable working onsite during specified hours to ensure consistent availability.
