Job Description

Overview

  • Support hedge fund operations with a focus on fixed income and private credit asset classes.
  • Collaborate with trading, accounting, compliance, and external counterparties to ensure seamless operational processes.
  • Engage in private credit deal lifecycle management, including fund setup, disbursement settlements, and performance tracking.
  • Conduct trade confirmations and resolve cash breaks across multiple asset classes.
  • Monitor and process margin calls, corporate actions, and investor activity bookings.
  • Assist in system implementations and process improvements for operations and accounting workflows.
  • Participate in audit and tax season preparations and SOC 1 Type 2 reviews.
  • Work with technology teams to integrate AI into operational processes.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage private credit operations, including fund setup, KYC onboarding, and cash flow tracking.
  • Perform trade confirmations and resolve position and cash breaks with custodians and administrators.
  • Oversee margin call monitoring, recalculations, and processing.
  • Handle corporate action elections and bookings accurately and timely.
  • Book investor activity in Geneva/Bloomberg AIM and allocate fund-related expenses.
  • Assist with daily performance reporting and pricing for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate on system implementations and vendor reviews to streamline operations.
  • Contribute to audit preparations and SOC 1 Type 2 review processes.
  • Lead or assist with special projects to improve operational workflows and incorporate AI solutions.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 6-8 years of buy-side experience.
  • Proficiency in private credit operations, including loan lifecycle management and SPV understanding.
  • Experience with Geneva, IVP Polaris, or Bloomberg AIM preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to process improvement and technology integration.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset for team success.
