Job Description

Overview

  • Provide comprehensive orthopedic care as a Physician Assistant in a dynamic outpatient practice.
  • Collaborate with physicians and surgeons to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Perform physical examinations, diagnose injuries, and develop treatment plans.
  • Work across two state-of-the-art facilities to support patient needs.
  • Ensure continuity of care through effective coordination and documentation.
  • Prescribe medications and provide patient education on treatment protocols.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment adhering to regulations.
  • Engage with patients using excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Conduct thorough physical examinations and assess patient medical histories.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans for orthopedic conditions.
  • Coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Prescribe medications and monitor patient progress during follow-ups.

Job Requirements

  • Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or related field.
  • Active Physician Assistant license in New York State.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in orthopedic or related medical practice.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
