Job Description

Overview

  • Work as a CT/Rad Technologist in a dynamic imaging department, performing diagnostic and CT studies to ensure optimal patient care and accurate imaging results.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, adapting procedures to meet individual needs while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced healthcare environment, contributing to efficient operations and patient satisfaction.
  • Utilize advanced imaging technology and techniques to perform CT and X-ray exams for in-house and emergency department patients.
  • Participate in continuous professional development and training to stay current with industry standards and practices.
  • Engage in venipuncture and sterile procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational protocols.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Perform CT and diagnostic radiological studies, ensuring high-quality imaging and accurate results for patient diagnosis and treatment.
  • Adapt exam routines and techniques to optimize imaging quality while meeting patient-specific needs and conditions.
  • Conduct venipuncture and sterile procedures, adhering to established safety and infection control protocols.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care and support during imaging procedures.
  • Maintain and operate imaging equipment, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to technical standards.
  • Document and report imaging findings accurately, maintaining detailed records for patient care and compliance purposes.
  • Participate in department meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge in imaging practices.
  • Support emergency imaging needs, providing timely and efficient services for urgent patient cases.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; completion of structured or on-the-job CT training preferred.
  • Active ARRT certification for Radiologic Technology; eligibility for ARRT CT registration within specified timeframes.
  • Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and basic human physiology essential for effective imaging practices.
  • Preferred: One year of experience in a similar role within a healthcare setting.
  • Proficiency in performing CT and X-ray exams for diverse patient populations, including emergency department cases.
  • Strong commitment to patient care, safety, and adherence to regulatory standards and protocols.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, demonstrating excellent communication and collaboration skills.
