Overview

- Oversee a skilled nursing facility with a 51-bed capacity, focusing on patient safety and satisfaction.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and participate in nursing home surveys and corrective actions.
- Provide leadership in budget formulation, staffing, and scheduling to optimize operational efficiency.
- Supervise nursing staff, fostering professional development and interdepartmental collaboration.
- Maintain and utilize electronic medical records systems for accurate documentation and reporting.
- Participate in care conferences, special events, and initiatives to enhance resident well-being.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Develop and implement quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Lead staff training sessions to enhance nursing competencies and knowledge of care standards.
- Conduct resident assessments and create individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams.
- Monitor antibiotic stewardship plans and ensure adherence to infection control protocols.
- Facilitate communication with residents' families to address concerns and provide updates on care.

Job Requirements
- Active RN license for the state of practice and BLS certification required.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an Associate of Science degree.
- Minimum five years of RN experience, including long-term care and supervisory roles.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records systems and care planning methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of nursing fundamentals, medication effects, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication skills for interaction with residents, families, and staff.
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs and meet mobility demands of the role.
