Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Design and develop enterprise data models supporting business intelligence and operational reporting.
- Implement best practices for data modeling in a lakehouse environment.
- Architect data structures ensuring performance, scalability, and governance.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers to optimize physical data models.
- Guide ETL/ELT strategies for data integrity and performance.
- Establish and document data modeling standards for engineering teams.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 7 years in data architecture, data modeling, or database design.
- Expertise in data modeling methodologies (Dimensional, relational, Data Vault).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Fabric, Delta Lake, and Medallion Architecture.
- Strong SQL skills for data modeling and query optimization.
- Experience with cloud-based data architectures, preferably Azure.
- Preferred familiarity with Microsoft Purview and Graph Data Modeling.
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
