Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Perform nursing tasks and responsibilities under the direction of the Registered Nurse in an assisted living facility.
• Provide care to residents in accordance with their individual care plans, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Assist residents with daily living activities, fostering independence and improving their quality of life.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team to address concerns and provide updates.
• Document patient care and progress accurately and timely, maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and healthcare standards within the assisted living facility.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective care strategies for residents.

Job Requirements

• Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in nursing or related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in nursing, preferably in home care, assisted living, or long-term care.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification and active licensure required.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams.
• Ability to perform nursing tasks and responsibilities in compliance with healthcare standards.
• Experience in documenting patient care and maintaining accurate records.
