Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Advance customer experience within surgical services through strategic initiatives.
  • Coach and develop subordinates, facilitating individual growth and performance documentation.
  • Communicate organizational and industry information effectively to staff.
  • Utilize talent review data for leadership pipeline development.
  • Design and implement standards of care for surgical services.
  • Develop and evaluate ongoing surgical services programs ensuring quality patient care.
  • Monitor compliance with safety regulations and hospital policies.
  • Oversee performance improvement programs evaluating critical aspects of care.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in surgical services; leadership experience preferred.
  • Current RN license required; CNOR or CSSM certification preferred.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to develop strategic initiatives.
  • Proficiency in regulatory compliance and quality assurance practices.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience in talent development and employee engagement strategies.
