Job Description

Overview

  • Provide IT support and cybersecurity monitoring for an on-site role in Washington, D.C.
  • Assist in managing organizational security posture and responding to incidents.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues for staff.
  • Support AV systems for meetings and events, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance IT and cybersecurity processes.

  • Work closely with vendors and consultants for system upgrades and repairs.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Monitor security logs and alerts, escalating incidents as necessary.
  • Conduct vulnerability scans and prioritize remediation efforts.
  • Provide end-user guidance on cybersecurity and IT-related issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues impacting systems' integrity.
  • Document helpdesk issues and resolutions in the ticketing system.
  • Set up and maintain AV systems for organizational events.
  • Coordinate with vendors for AV system upgrades and repairs.
  • Provide training to staff on AV tools and systems usage.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an IT-related position.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and technologies.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 administration and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with IT ticketing systems and MAC OS management.
  • Knowledge of AV systems and troubleshooting audio/video issues.
  • Familiarity with network administration and backup processing.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
