Overview

  • Provide physical therapy services to clients in a community-based setting, focusing on restorative and maintenance therapy for aging populations.
  • Conduct daily assessments and treatments, ensuring comprehensive documentation of all therapy sessions and client progress.
  • Work part-time with potential for full-time as the program expands, offering consistent weekday hours.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team in a state-of-the-art facility to enhance client outcomes.
  • Engage with clients to improve their mobility, strength, and overall quality of life through tailored therapy plans.
  • Utilize bilingual Spanish skills to communicate effectively with diverse client populations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Perform physical therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients.
  • Deliver restorative and maintenance therapy to enhance client mobility and independence.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and client progress.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field required.
  • Current New York State Physical Therapist License mandatory.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in physical therapy; 5 years preferred.
  • Experience working with aging populations in community settings highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in restorative and maintenance therapy techniques essential.
  • Bilingual Spanish-speaking capabilities preferred for effective client communication.
