Overview
- Lead pharmaceutical services across multiple hospital pharmacy departments within the division, ensuring operational excellence and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and implement cost-efficient initiatives to optimize pharmacy operations and enhance patient care quality.
- Collaborate with division and facility leadership to advance pharmacy practices and achieve strategic goals.
- Analyze data and provide strategic recommendations for improving medication management and expense control.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to drive alignment and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and oversee pharmacy business process models.
- Provide leadership in pharmacy clinical services, operations, and expense management.
- Support strategic initiatives to improve division-wide pharmacy services and achieve organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Oversee hospital pharmacy departments, ensuring operational effectiveness and compliance with regulations.
- Develop and implement cost containment strategies to optimize pharmacy expenses.

- Analyze pharmacy purchase patterns and provide expert recommendations for improvement.

- Provide direct leadership and accountability for pharmacy operations and strategic planning.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required; Doctor of Pharmacy, MBA, or MS preferred.
- Licensed pharmacist with ability to obtain state licensure within six months.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in pharmacy leadership; 10 years preferred.
- Strong analytical skills to assess data and recommend strategic improvements.
- Proven ability to lead and collaborate within a team and across functional settings.
- Experience in developing and implementing cost-efficient pharmacy initiatives.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with stakeholders.
