Overview

  • Lead pharmaceutical services across multiple hospital pharmacy departments within the division, ensuring operational excellence and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and implement cost-efficient initiatives to optimize pharmacy operations and enhance patient care quality.
  • Collaborate with division and facility leadership to advance pharmacy practices and achieve strategic goals.
  • Analyze data and provide strategic recommendations for improving medication management and expense control.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to drive alignment and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and oversee pharmacy business process models.
  • Provide leadership in pharmacy clinical services, operations, and expense management.
  • Support strategic initiatives to improve division-wide pharmacy services and achieve organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee hospital pharmacy departments, ensuring operational effectiveness and compliance with regulations.
  • Develop and implement cost containment strategies to optimize pharmacy expenses.
  • Collaborate with division leadership to advance pharmacy practices and patient care quality.
  • Analyze pharmacy purchase patterns and provide expert recommendations for improvement.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance pharmacy business processes and operational results.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to align objectives and improve services.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and oversee pharmacy clinical services.
  • Provide direct leadership and accountability for pharmacy operations and strategic planning.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required; Doctor of Pharmacy, MBA, or MS preferred.
  • Licensed pharmacist with ability to obtain state licensure within six months.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in pharmacy leadership; 10 years preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess data and recommend strategic improvements.
  • Proven ability to lead and collaborate within a team and across functional settings.
  • Experience in developing and implementing cost-efficient pharmacy initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated expertise in pharmacy operations, compliance, and expense management.
