Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Advise clients on structuring, implementing, and managing hedge accounting strategies.
  • Prepare technical accounting memos, policy papers, and financial statement impact analyses.
  • Conduct hedge effectiveness tests and sensitivity analyses to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Collaborate with advisory teams on client portfolio onboarding and hedging strategy implementation.
  • Provide education and guidance to clients and colleagues on technical accounting topics.
  • Lead projects to design and optimize hedge accounting programs for clients.
  • Contribute to process efficiency and technology development initiatives within the organization.
  • Support clients and auditors with period-end accounting deliverables and financial reporting.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • Preferred 2 years of experience in accounting or financial advisory roles.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
  • Proficiency in hedge accounting strategies and financial risk management concepts.
  • Excellent communication and advisory skills for client interaction and consultation.
  • Ability to conduct technical research and prepare detailed accounting documentation.
