Job Description

Overview

  • Lead and manage commercial construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones are met and deadlines are achieved efficiently.
  • Oversee budgeting processes, monitor expenditures, and ensure projects remain within financial constraints.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure seamless project execution and adherence to specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout all phases of construction.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to address project needs, resolve issues, and maintain effective communication.
  • Prepare and present project reports, updates, and documentation to management and clients.
  • Foster a team-oriented environment to promote collaboration and achieve project objectives.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage all aspects of commercial construction projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Develop detailed project schedules and monitor progress to ensure timely completion.
  • Oversee project budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Resolve project-related issues and mitigate risks effectively to maintain project timelines.
  • Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and challenges.
  • Promote collaboration among team members to achieve project goals and maintain productivity.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; additional certifications in construction management preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction project management; 5 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in project scheduling, budgeting, and subcontractor management.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial construction processes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, stakeholders, and team members effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools is highly advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
