Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Administer and manage the firm's network and telecommunications systems, ensuring secure and efficient operations.
- Provide Level 2 and 3 support for IT teams and IPC turret systems.
- Design, deploy, and monitor network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless solutions.
- Configure and optimize firewalls for robust security and compliance.
- Implement network segmentation and security protocols to protect sensitive data.
- Collaborate with teams to integrate network solutions with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee telecom provisioning processes.
- Support and maintain Cisco Unified Communications services and AV equipment.
- Provide rotational on-call support for after-hours and weekend troubleshooting.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in LAN/WAN/MAN management within financial services.
- Proficiency in Cisco technologies, routing protocols, and firewall configurations.
- Experience with VPNs, load balancers, and secure remote access solutions.
- Strong network troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve complex technical issues.
- Preferred certifications: CCIE Voice, Routing and Switching, and Cisco Security.
- Hands-on experience with network automation tools and IPC turrets.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment with rotational on-call duties.
