Job Description

Overview

  • Support regulatory compliance and licensing functions for insurance companies across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Assist with regulatory filings, renewals, corporate amendments, and affiliate transactions.
  • Collaborate with state insurance departments to ensure compliance and address inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate records of regulatory submissions and fee payments.
  • Provide support for reinsurance contracts filing and tracking processes.
  • Conduct research and analysis on insurance-related statutes and regulations.
  • Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects effectively.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare and submit regulatory filings and fee payments to state insurance departments.
  • Track and renew insurance company licenses and registrations.
  • Administer biographical affidavits for officers and directors.
  • Conduct surveys and research on insurance-related topics for analysis.
  • Manage inquiries and requests related to insurance filings and assessments.
  • Maintain records of licenses and registrations in both physical and digital formats.
  • Support reinsurance counsel with contract filing and tracking processes.
  • Correspond with state departments and legal representatives effectively.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of regulatory or licensing experience within the insurance industry.
  • Proficiency in project management, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication abilities.
  • Experience conducting online legal and insurance-related research.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.
