Job Description

Overview

  • Lead accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance with U.S. GAAP, and alignment with group IFRS standards.
  • Oversee financial reporting, audits, and internal controls, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Manage and mentor a multi-location accounting team, developing performance metrics and training initiatives.
  • Drive automation and ERP implementation projects, optimizing processes and ensuring seamless integration of acquisitions.
  • Provide technical accounting guidance for contracts, business models, and group policies.
  • Support strategic financial initiatives, including restructuring, M&A integration, and internal control documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align actuals, forecasts, and budgets effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with tax filings, sales & use tax regulations, and liaise with external advisors.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare financial statements in compliance with U.S. GAAP and group reporting standards.
  • Coordinate external audits and internal control reviews, acting as the primary contact for auditors.
  • Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including GL, AP, AR, payroll accounting, and cash management.
  • Supervise month-end close processes, targeting accuracy and timeliness.
  • Lead ERP implementation projects, ensuring efficient data migration and process optimization.
  • Provide technical accounting expertise for business decisions and financial initiatives.
  • Develop and implement consistent accounting processes across entities and acquisitions.
  • Collaborate with FP&A to ensure alignment between actuals, forecasts, and budgets.

Job Requirements

  • Master of Accountancy (MAc) degree required; CPA certification mandatory.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive accounting experience, with 5 years in leadership roles.
  • Proven expertise in multi-entity, multi-currency environments; international reporting experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS standards; experience managing audits and improving processes.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly NetSuite, and data integration projects.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional relationships and work under tight deadlines.
  • Ethical and professional integrity in decision-making and interactions.
