Job Description
Overview
- Provide essential facilities support during a temporary coverage period, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Perform tasks related to stocking supplies, catering setups, and general upkeep in common areas.
- Assist with delivery acceptance, trash management, and recycling processes to maintain a tidy environment.
- Ensure dishwashing and dishwasher maintenance are performed efficiently and promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to address immediate facility needs and provide excellent service.
- Work on-site during standard business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
- Contribute to a positive and organized workplace environment through proactive facility management.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Stock fridges, pantries, kitchens, and bathrooms with necessary supplies regularly.
- Assist with catering setups, ensuring timely and organized arrangements.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in common areas through regular straightening and tidying.
- Accept and manage deliveries, ensuring proper documentation and storage.
- Handle trash, recycling, and compost maintenance tasks efficiently.
- Perform dishwashing and dishwasher maintenance to uphold hygiene standards.
- Communicate effectively with team members to address facility-related concerns promptly.
- Adhere to safety and cleanliness protocols to ensure a secure environment.
Job Requirements
- Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree or equivalent educational background required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in facilities or housekeeping roles; 3 years preferred.
- Proficiency in English for effective communication and task execution.
- Ability to work on-site during designated hours, Monday through Friday.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and maintain cleanliness standards.
- Experience with trash, recycling, and compost maintenance preferred.
- Capability to accept deliveries and manage inventory effectively.
