Job Description

Overview

  • Coordinate outpatient imaging services and ensure efficient clinic operations for a healthcare organization.
  • Perform radiologic X-ray examinations adhering to established protocols and patient safety standards.
  • Support patient scheduling, registration, and communication for seamless clinic experiences.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize clinic workflows and patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient satisfaction.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to clinic staff regarding imaging procedures.
  • Engage in professional development to stay updated with advancements in radiology and clinic coordination.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Conduct radiologic imaging procedures ensuring high-quality results and patient comfort.
  • Coordinate daily clinic operations including patient scheduling and staff assignments.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment to ensure operational readiness.
  • Provide administrative support for clinic operations, including documentation and reporting.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements in imaging practices.
  • Assist in training and mentoring clinic staff to enhance team capabilities.
  • Participate in patient education regarding imaging procedures and clinic services.

Job Requirements

  • Associate of Science (AS) degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent credentials.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in radiologic imaging; 2 years preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, obtainable upon hire.
  • Proficiency in EPIC or similar healthcare management systems is advantageous.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred for enhanced patient communication.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills to manage clinic operations effectively.
