Overview

  • Contribute to estimating electrical projects in K-12, higher education, healthcare, multifamily, and senior living sectors.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate and competitive project estimates.
  • Utilize industry-standard software and tools to prepare detailed cost analyses.
  • Analyze project requirements and specifications to determine material and labor costs.
  • Provide expertise in electrical systems to optimize project designs and budgets.
  • Support the client in achieving project goals through precise cost estimation.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and pricing standards.
  • Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for a variety of electrical projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to review project specifications and requirements.
  • Utilize estimating software to create accurate and competitive bids.
  • Conduct site visits to gather data and assess project scope.
  • Analyze labor, material, and equipment costs to develop comprehensive estimates.
  • Provide recommendations to optimize project designs and reduce costs.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical estimating; 5 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard estimating software and tools.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and project requirements.
  • Familiarity with K-12, higher education, healthcare, multifamily, and senior living projects.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work on-site and collaborate effectively with project teams.
