Job Description

Overview

  • Manage a portfolio of publicly traded bank debt, including par, distressed, and LMA debt.
  • Collaborate with trustees and accounting teams for compliance and position reporting.
  • Perform asset servicing tasks such as security master maintenance and investment activity monitoring.
  • Engage daily with asset managers, front office, and service providers.
  • Generate daily, weekly, and ad-hoc reports for management and investor relations.
  • Contribute to treasury operations and ensure accurate wire processing.
  • Support operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
  • Utilize financial knowledge to enhance loan operations processes.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Maintain and oversee a portfolio of bank debt, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Perform weekly and monthly compliance reporting in collaboration with trustees.
  • Monitor and book investment activities, ensuring adherence to credit agreements.
  • Process wires and manage asset servicing tasks effectively.
  • Prepare detailed reports for management and investor relations.
  • Interact with asset managers and service providers to streamline operations.
  • Utilize accounting concepts to enhance operational accuracy.
  • Support team collaboration and multitask in a dynamic environment.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting required.
  • 3-4 years of loan servicing or agency experience essential.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other MS Office products.
  • Understanding of public loan market and settlement processes.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong accounting knowledge and analytical skills.
  • Experience with Wall Street Office preferred.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
