Overview
- Support the Legal and Compliance team in managing legal entities and governing documents.
- Enhance document and entity management systems to ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Assist in transaction closings and related documentation preparation.
- Respond to KYC/AML requests from counterparties and conduct due diligence checks.
- Review marketing materials for compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Coordinate regulatory filings and compliance policy preparation as needed.
- Provide support for legal and compliance requests related to NDAs, vendor agreements, and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer on various legal tasks.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Coordinate formation, organization, and administration of legal entities and governing documents.
- Organize and improve entity management and document record-keeping systems.
- Assist with transaction closings and preparation of related documentation.
- Respond to KYC/AML requests and conduct risk assessments for counterparties and service providers.
- Review marketing materials to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
- Coordinate preparation of regulatory filings and compliance policies.
- Assist with legal and compliance tasks related to NDAs, vendor agreements, and marketing materials.
- Collaborate with the legal team to address compliance and legal matters effectively.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with excellent academic credentials required.
- 1-3 years of experience in a corporate law firm or legal/compliance department.
- Previous AML/KYC and entity management experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills essential.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently as a self-starter.
- Proficiency in legal and compliance processes and documentation.
- Familiarity with regulatory filings and compliance policy development.
