Overview
- Lead the implementation of best practice models and patient care delivery systems across multiple locations.
- Ensure optimal and safe patient care by collaborating with healthcare providers and team members.
- Monitor resource needs to ensure appropriate assignment and utilization in clinical areas.
- Manage equipment, supplies, and medications while maintaining a safe environment for patients and employees.
- Provide clinical supervision and maintain licensing and competency for care provision.
- Develop and implement operational initiatives to achieve performance targets and compliance standards.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality and cost-effective care delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement in quality and safety of clinical practices and operations.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Develop and advocate developmental opportunities for staff and build collaborative relationships.
- Hire, train, and develop talent while setting performance management guidelines and expectations.
- Oversee implementation of organizational changes and share best practices across teams.
- Manage hospital administrative functions to support patient care and compliance standards.
- Develop and implement strategies for operational initiatives and financial management.
- Lead emergency preparedness programs and ensure staff readiness for emergencies.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop strategic plans for integrated care services.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Registered Nurse License (California) required.
- Minimum five years of experience in patient care delivery and business operations.
- Minimum four years of leadership experience, with or without direct reports.
- Basic Life Support certification required at hire.
- Knowledge of patient safety, emergency preparedness, and evidence-based medicine principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and healthcare information systems.
- Strong skills in change management, compliance management, and business process improvement.
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage resources effectively.
