Job Description

Overview

  • Manage compensation planning, development, and administration for healthcare departments, ensuring competitive and equitable practices.
  • Collaborate with HR and leadership teams to design and implement effective compensation strategies.
  • Analyze market data and participate in compensation surveys to maintain competitive pay structures.
  • Support project work and process improvements to enhance compensation programs.
  • Maintain confidentiality, regulatory compliance, and data integrity in all compensation activities.
  • Develop tools and dashboards for analyzing and presenting internal and external compensation data.
  • Ensure compliance with FLSA regulations and other relevant laws.
  • Provide expert consultation and recommendations for pay adjustments and hiring ranges.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Assist in the development and implementation of job architecture and compensation grade profiles.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses and modeling for compensation programs, including budgets and pay trends.
  • Participate in salary survey submissions and maintain employee and survey data.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition teams to ensure timely compensation deliverables.
  • Evaluate jobs based on descriptions to determine proper slotting into salary structures.
  • Create and maintain documentation supporting compensation decisions and actions.
  • Conduct regular audits of HRIS data to ensure accuracy in compensation metrics.
  • Educate HR staff on compensation policies and procedures to enhance organizational initiatives.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of five years of professional experience in compensation, preferably in healthcare.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation principles and practices, including FLSA regulations.
  • Proficiency in Workday and advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and database skills.
  • Exceptional analytical, evaluation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage complex administrative systems.
  • Experience in designing and implementing contemporary compensation practices.
  • Strong communication skills for presenting reports and analyses.
