Job Description

Overview

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of revenue calculation logic using Databricks and SQL.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to ensure accurate revenue processing and compliance.
  • Support data integration from billing systems such as Salesforce and Workday.
  • Participate in code reviews and team learning sessions to enhance development practices.
  • Document processes and maintain audit readiness for financial data operations.
  • Ensure enterprise data quality through automated audits and validation mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and meet data requirements.
  • Assist in finance and accounting-related projects to support organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and test revenue calculation logic using SQL within Databricks.
  • Integrate data from billing systems and ensure seamless data flow.
  • Implement validation and reconciliation checks to maintain data accuracy.
  • Document processes to support audit and compliance requirements.
  • Participate in team code reviews and contribute to knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with finance, accounting, and compliance teams on data-related projects.
  • Ensure adherence to data governance and metadata management standards.
  • Lead analytics projects from inception to completion with minimal supervision.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in data engineering or financial systems development.
  • Proficiency in SQL and cloud data platforms, preferably Databricks.
  • Experience with billing, revenue, and financial data processing.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and workflow tools.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems like Workday Financials, Oracle, or SAP.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
