Overview
- Lead clinical operations within a residential treatment facility serving youth aged 12-18 with complex mental health needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure therapeutic and educational success for residents.
- Provide clinical supervision and support to therapists and transitional coordinators.
- Oversee family engagement and support programs to promote successful reunification and discharge outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and documentation standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance program effectiveness and reduce length of stay.
- Participate in administrative meetings and contribute to organizational decision-making processes.
- Maintain collaborative relationships with community resources and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide clinical supervision to therapists, ensuring compliance with documentation and therapeutic standards.
- Oversee communication and alignment between therapists, transition staff, and unit teams.
- Facilitate family engagement and support programs to address barriers to reunification.
- Participate in treatment planning and administrative meetings to align clinical strategies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and standards for residential treatment facilities.
- Collaborate with community-based programs to provide comprehensive support for families.
- Monitor utilization of transitional funds and ensure adherence to policies.
- Provide direct clinical services as needed, including therapy sessions and transitional coordination.
Job Requirements
- Master's degree in Social Work or related field with LCSW certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience providing direct services to children with serious emotional disturbances.
- At least 2 years of supervisory or managerial experience in the social service sector.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical record systems.
- Experience in residential treatment settings and working with pediatric populations.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel to families' homes and work one weekend day per week.
